It's more than just opening up another client. I do love those free games though lol, keep em coming Tim! Valve isn't perfect either, but I don't like companies that lockdown IP's offering a shittier service. I still won't buy from their store, mainly for their scumbag business practices. They're funding their next two titles from the ground up, so exclusivity is warranted. I have no issue with their deal with Remedy though. A lot of that goes on the publishers/devs who agreed to that bulshit of course, but it's scummy all around. I have about 800 games on there, it's like my own blockbuster video game aisle when I was kid renting games.Įpic really annoyed me with bribing devs to pull their games from Steam in exclusive deals, even though they had been advertised for months. I even enjoy small things like looking back at my top played games, to see what hours I've put in, or searching through my library via whatever genre my ADHD ass feels like playing at that time. They have so many tools/services built in I use often, from forums, cloud saves, workshops, friends lists, game update archives, it goes on an on. I love all the lore bits scattered around too, much like AW.Īnyone playing Control with ray tracing? It must look so amazing.Ĭlick to expand. It's more than just opening up another client. Now that I got that throw objects ability, and the dash, I'm fucking loving the combat. I've also had Control for a while on Steam and didn't feel it at first, but I didn't play long. I heard there were references to AW in Control, and that it is a shared universe which we find out in a DLC. In AW the Max Payne face model (game dev too) makes an appearance in one of tv shows, some interview with Alan. I love Remedy, Max Payne 1&2 are among my favs of all time. ![]() I can always pirate it and buy a PS5 version to not feel guilty lol. Epic would be publishing it unfortunately, so EGS exclusive (pc wise) Too bad it ended on such a cliffhanger, but I hope the rumours of the sequel are true. ![]() I got it on sale on Steam many moons ago, and finally decided to finish it. It's another game I lost my saves from on my 360. It's still a gorgeous game, amazing atmosphere.
